“Emily Earle has a truly authentic country voice,” (Blake Shelton). Earle grew up in small town, Texas on daring and unique country artists like Buddy Holly and Johnny Cash. However, she attended high school in Colorado Springs, CO, where she found cause to pick up her first guitar – she wanted to sing at a local venue but they required that she play an instrument too. Even though her parents warned her of the harsh realities of the music industry, especially given her lack of knowledge and experience, Earle attended Berklee College of Music in Boston and graduated in under three years. She then honed in on her performing and songwriting skills in New York City, busking in the subway stations to pay rent. After touring with Steve Earle and competing on NBC’s The Voice, she has decided to call Nashville home. She has, since, sung with CeeLo Green and The Muppets, performed on the AT&T stage at CMA Festival, been featured in American Songwriter, and opened for artists such as David Wilcox and Peter Bradley Adams.
